- 25-year career with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office

Monroe County Sheriff's Office 1990-2015
During his career with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Dan served in a wide range of roles, including assignments in the Jail Division, Prisoner Transport, Court Security, and Road Patrol. He also held several leadership and training positions, serving as a Field Training Officer, Police Instructor, and Class Counselor for the Recruit Academy. Dan retired honorably in 2015 after 25 years of dedicated service.
United States Navy Reserves 1985-1993
Dan proudly served in the United States Navy Reserves from 1985 to 1993, earning several honors during his service. His awards include the National Defense Service Medal, Naval Reserve Meritorious Service Medal, and the New York State Naval Militia Medal for Meritorious Service. He was honorably discharged in 1993.
